One large employer told us a cautionary tale about the need for timely communication when an apprentice is not progressing as expected. The example was an apprentice who was struggling and who had missed multiple deadlines and been found guilty of plagiarism twice. The employer did not become aware of this until their service review call. They have since asked the university concerned to supply all progress reviews direct to them.
